Starting by bike from Caltagirone, we will reach Pozzallo in three days, famous for its beaches and its port, connected to the Island of Malta. A panoramic itinerary that will immerse you in the Sicilian rural countryside through hills and expanses of olive groves, vines and fields of artichokes to reach destinations of great historical and cultural interest

Arrival in Caltagirone, by own transport (or you can reserve shuttle service), welcome drink, brief on the tour, accommodation in rooms assigned and free time to visit the main attractions of the historic center of Caltagirone a few steps from the B&B.
Firs day
Piazza Armerina
Breakfast and departure from Caltagirone to Piazza Armerina by shuttle (on request, for the most trained, you can start directly by MTB). A tour to discover the city, a UNESCO heritage and destination of important cultural interest that owes its fame to the Villa del Casale, an imperial residence dating back to the end of the fourth century. A.D. famous especially for its wonderful mosaics, considered among the most beautiful and best preserved in their kind.

Second day
Modica
After an abundant breakfast, you will cycle from Caltagirone to the south, crossing endless vineyards, centuries-old olive groves and reaching the Santo Pietro Reserve, Acate ultimately reaching Comiso. After a short excursion to the city, transfer to Modica, a charming town in Sicily known above all for its famous chocolate. City tour and overnight stay.

Third day
Modica – Pozzallo
Starting on the MTB from Modica towards Pozzallo, you will gradually descend alongside the characteristic caves of the Iblei Mountains to the town of Scicli, a pearl set between the rocks and the coasts of Ragusa; as well as a set of the beloved fiction de “il Commissario Montalbano”. Then continue towards the sea until you get to the Port of Pozzallo, where if you want, you can take a ferry and continue your adventure to Malta.
